Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation (MCRF), the largest private medical research institute in Wisconsin, is accepting applications for its annual summer internship program. MCRF summer research internship opportunities have been offered to qualified students since 1974.
The primary goal of the 12-week summer program is to provide a mentored, hands-on research experience for college undergraduate, graduate, medical, and dental students considering a career in research. Students work with a research scientist on an independent project and contribute to all aspects of the research process. Students are also able to attend medical Grand Rounds, scientific seminars, IRB meetings, and journal clubs. All students are required to prepare an abstract describing their research and present orally at the annual Research Symposium in August.
