Office of Research Support Services
We are proud to partner with other research institutions through collaborative programs that enable us to address statewide health and health care concerns.
University of Wisconsin Institute for Clinical and Translational Research (UW-ICTR)
Since 2007, Marshfield Clinic Research Institute has partnered with the University of Wisconsin-Madison to form the Clinical and Translational Science Award funded UW-ICTR hub. The goal of UW-ICTR is to create an environment that transforms research into a continuum from investigation through discovery and to translate results into real-life community practice, thereby linking even the most basic research to practical improvements in human health. This partnership provides Research Institute researchers with access to University of Wisconsin collaboration opportunities, pilot funding and career development resources.
Wisconsin Network for Health Research (WiNHR)
The Wisconsin Network for Health Research is a partnership of the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Marshfield Clinic Research Institute, Aurora Health Care and Gundersen Health System. WiNHR was established in 2005 to promote statewide research and to assist in moving research results from bench to bedside. Marshfield researchers utilizing the WiNHR network have potential access to more than three million patients statewide.
